Love: Lost In Love (Radha-9) Poem by Subrat Pradhan

Love: Lost In Love (Radha-9)

You alone drifting free
Looking back time and again
Who was chasing you really?
Tiger, snake or demon
Or the whole villagers of Gopapur
So to say
Who was aware of it more
Than me, truly?

The cows nearby stood up being startled
As if a new news had reached
The Court of Kansa, the king
You hugged me with the intensity
As the water released from a dike
Gives heavy blow to the stone on its way
My eternal ego, my body embodying pride
Got dethroned then and there
Really is it so difficult
To bear the brunt the love!
And the rest of your red saree following you
Without your knowledge
Fell upon us covering gleefully.
