You talk to me of when you were a child
A boy who loved and lived in open spaces.
Mother Nature in all her glory
Had you beguiled
And explore you would
Unknown, untouched forbidden places
Me, I was a wanderer, my 4 legged
Canine friend accompanied me.
Oh what excitement when I fastened on his lead.
So very frisky, he too loved to be
Out of doors you see,
He hurtled down our street at breakneck speed.
And I would follow him as he was in control.
He stopped to sniff at lamposts, .
Flowers, trees and even old car wheels.
Yet as a puppy he often refused to walk
I sometimes had to carry him home
For some of his daily meals!
You loved your dog, too, of that I am aware
A more faithful friend
Would be so very hard to find.
Our dogs had so much love to give and share
And what loving; it was the unconditional kind.

I would like to translate this poem
You are right the dog is the best companion who always love you, no matter what. Nobody else will love you like the dog.
