To possess one is to forget to love one.
When you possess your wife it might happen
That you're vigilant and not jubilant.
You see that she seek not men's company
And that she is mute to love, denied by you.
Whether you love her or not, she must care you.
When you possess your husband it happens
That you're cautious but not accommodative.
You see that he befriend no co-woman
And is impervious to other women's love.
Better to possess not, so as to love.
