Love Parasite Poem by Morhaf Sattout

Love Parasite

Love sneaked to my heart and took its sole chamber
Disguising in a dress of a sleek amber
A controlling parasite despite its host
I don’t know whether to kill or cherish the most
Sucked its blood when it was in its wintry rest
Fool Love! Only together we can persist
