The tears
The nightly fears
I wish you were back
In the place where you belong
I miss you so badly
Since your always gone

I miss the old times
When we would get together
And sing a love song
I don't understand
Did I do something wrong?
Down that solemn road we trot
I see it so confusing
Bewildering
But not
Always the opposite

I look for you now
The words withering away
I fall to my knees
On this battered soil
My emotions
Heating to a boil
I scream out
Finally losing my mind
'IN THIS GROUND
I WISH TO SINK'
And then,
I miss you my love
On the headstone
I scribble in ink
