Love Sonnet 163: 'Love Bless This Quest I Am About To Start',

Love, bless this quest I am about to start,
I'll sail the seas and leave this lonely wharf,
And like in days, when errand knights depart,
Please throw to me your lovely kiss-marked scarf;

I'll look in waves for semblance of your hair,
As it would flutter, banners in a gale,
Your touch, I'll feel bestowed by skies so fair,
Your smile I'll sense in moonlight that's so pale;

But all will just be phantoms of a dream,
That forfeit life! Think, I'll be homeward bound,
And as this quest is slowly losing steam,
'Hey helmsman, will you turn this ship around.'
.....Whilst as vainglorious, I sail destiny,
.....My heart has risen up in mutiny.
