Love Sonnet 21: 'my Love, She Walks Among The Lilies, Free'

My love, she walks among the lilies, free,
To stop awhile to smell a bloom or two,
I hope my heart she picks along the way,
As there it lies among the shrubs that grow;
No scent would lead my love to where it pines,
Not even stars would know that there it waits,
And not a word or stifled cry it whines,
Although to wait has now to pain translates;
Before the tender finds the shrub to burn,
My heart may in her arms be cradled soft,
Some fancy may towards it she would turn,
And in her dreams may it be held aloft;
....As many blooms were there which to contend,
....My heart will not as one such bloom pretend.
