Love Sonnet 34: 'Dear Moon, Please Bring These Thoughts To Where She Is'

Rating: 4.5

Dear moon, please bring these thoughts to where she is,
For moonbeams she yearns, coming from your face,
Please bounce to her when I would blow a kiss
Across the sea, there to her flowered place;
And do you tire when lovers supplicate?
Then have this wish conveyed, oh would you please
For one who waits, though no matter how late,
With heart to soothe, and grieved mind to appease;
But care that not a cloud obscures your glow,
For whilst I choose my words, and hard I try,
Raindrops may tell her things that naught I know,
And moonless nights do always make her cry;
.....So once you see my love to look so sad,
.....Pour out those words of mine to make her glad.
