Love Sonnet 88: 'Beyond These Reefs And Far Away Yonder, '

Beyond these reefs and far away yonder,
Awaits my love, so distant yet so nigh,
And often in her arms my thoughts wander,
A thousand miles ahead as crows would fly;
Wish I if only I could scroll the skies,
As I would to a moving dome direct,
To where directly down below she lies,
I might a fair weather for her select;
But stars arrayed to try divine her fate,
As dreamers do when reading destiny,
The writings for my life have seemed so late,
For only now is there mention of me;
……..But though the crows leave no footprints to lead,
……..My heart would always know where to proceed.
