Love Sonnet 94: 'Of Pleasant Thoughts That Stray Inside The Mind, ' - Poem by Reyvrex Questor Reyes

Of pleasant thoughts that stray inside the mind,
The heart picks out what it would want to stay,
And soon enough it wakes one day to find,
Nuggets of wisdom, stern, all gone away,
To leave behind moments angels would shun,
Moments untaught in fine angelic schools;
But that is not where love-struck mortals run,
When they start out from avenue of fools;
Their hearts command the path where they would tread,
When it's the mind that should, as wise men preached,
And Heaven yet is what they see ahead,
Who knows what here on Earth they might have reached;
........A fool, as would wise men, humanly errs,
........But saves the day enjoying such affairs.
