You came into my life and touched my heart
as I looked in your eye's so beautiful and brown
I seen deep inside your soul
and that's when you turned my life around

You put a smile on my face where I wore a frown
lifting me up when I was feeling down
mending my wounds that I couldn't heal
you gave to me a new love to feel
and a brand new start

Thinking of you I couldn't let go
and no matter how far apart
you took away my emptiness with so much love to fill
and you showed me a love that was real
