Loveful Heart/Daruman Of India Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

Loveful Heart/Daruman Of India

Loveful Heart

Under the moon-lit nights
Where is Chandramukhi going
With the anklets resounding,
A fairly slim girl
So ravishingly beautiful?
On seeing her, throbs it the heart,
Striking with love at first sight.

Daruman of India

He is a daruman of India,
He lies fallen on the roads,
There is none to take care of
Nor he is able to do so.

To take daru at the local shanty
And to quarrel, babble
And to lie fallen his life,
A man living for daru.

One may collect duties and levies
But there is none to take care of him
And his health and to say,
What has he taking daru?

Daru piyo aur masta raho,
The message to give,
Unmindful of,
Daru pikar es tarah barbad mat karo!

Do not destroy you as thus
Taking daru
You yourself and your family,
Your life and the world.
