Lovelorn Poem by Rex-mayor Ubini

Lovelorn

My heart, my soul
Met in a speechless space
Where silence was glow
Clothed with glory and beckoning face
Lost in the realm of words

Here cross-thoughts undivided
Were of her and her alone,
Which wed them into unbreakable mind,
That broke the peace with words profound,
And I looked fragilely around,
I saw a toothless woman from Akwa Ibom,
Still residing in my heart after long years.
But I woke up to my head,
To see that loneliness and tears
Won't bring her here as if she is dead.
