Lovely Air Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Lovely Air

Lovely air

It touched my cheeks
As if to seek
Simple touch
And feel as such

It was gentle knock
On door and opened lock
The door banged
The fresh air entered

Yes it was her
In the form of an air
I could visualize
And happily realize

I was missing
As she was ailing
And was not comforting well
I wanted to tell

It is not love alone
But touch of human
That works miraculously
And makes human to recover speedily

My music was on
But that was out of tune
Her voice filled room with melody
Now I needed nobody

Even though I feel internally
She has pushed me back intelligently
I recover from the shock slowly
But I must say "association was lovely"
