Lovely Lies Poem by Kelsi Brockway

Lovely Lies

Rating: 5.0

the trees shed their secrets
the snow covers the gardens
i feel so cold
so keep telling me those lovely little lies
about how you love me so
how i am the only one for you
But now i have reached the cold, hardened ground
My hands and feet buried in the cold snow
the death of the flowers led to the death of you and me
No sun to shine
no more lovely little lies
i breathed through you
now i am choking
my hands shake
my heart aches
all because you and your lovely little lies
