Loving Embrace Poem by Amber Elzey

Loving Embrace

your arms around me so tight
i don't want you to let go, it feels so right
you kissed me gently, caressing my face
I stood there leaning against your chest in you loving embrace

you whispered those three words in my eat
I stood there in fear
tears welled up in my eyes
I've heard those words from a bunch of guys

does he love me with his heart or his head?
is he picturing us in bed?
I don't know
so...
I told you how I felt
'I love you, too! ' I just wanted to melt

you kissed my forehead and then my lips
you wrapped your arms around my hips
we laid on your bed, side by side
I fell asleep, wrapped in your arms
safe from the world and all it's harms
