Lust But Not Love Poem by Monterio Hill

Lust But Not Love

Rating: 5.0

Lust but not
Love,
I must be honest
With my soul,
My heart wasn't
One hundred
Percent in
It.

These 'love yous' is
Meaningless,
I must sing it
From the highest
Mountain peak,
I'm sorry for the relapse
On the drug
Temptation!

Lord let me recollect my
Innocents,
As I repent for my
Sins,
Because it makes sense
To be forgiven
When the bad deed is
Forgotten!

To the ladies
I'm sorry,
We tried to knit
Together lust and
Love and then we
Got cut!

It's the result of
Being young
And dumb,
Maybe when we're
Grown our
Hearts will sing a
More sincere
Song.
