Impressions you can't arrest,
Impressions you can't forget,
Feelings and emotions,
Of happiness or distress,
Stamped in words forever,
As in a painting, at its best.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I truly believe there is a very strong link between Impressionism in painting and poetry. Impressionism expresses feelings and emotion thru colored painted strokes rather than strict reality, poetry does the same but with words. For me, they are like very deep reaching twins.
