Made In America Poem by Donal Mahoney

Made In America

Made in America means
different things
to different people.

In 1998 they made
our old Camry in Japan.
It's still feisty in any weather.

I'm glad Toyota makes
cars in America now.
But I'm also glad our Camry's

in my wife's name
so I don't have to walk out
to the garage today

and sign the car over
to a nice woman who's
delighted to pay

far more for our old Camry
than she would for
a '98 Ford or Chevy.

Made in America means
different things
to different people.
