Madhurima Poem by Dipankar Sadhukhan

Madhurima

Last night she came to the grove of my heart.
Her hair was dark and her face so charming.
She was sixteen and joys would fill her earth.
In a lovely voice Madhu was Speaking.

She was a sign of perfect loveliness.
She wore a nose ring and few ornaments.
The moon would shine her heart; it was cloudless.
She looked so lovely in her pink garments.

She smiled and said, 'I do love you badly;
I could ne'er say the words of love for thee.
I must express my love passionately.
I will spend my life with you if you agree.'

'Does love follow any order or law? '
-The girl, Madhu asked me in the morn glow.

Beautiful poem on love having thrilling expression and nice collocation. I read your both poem i, e in english language and in bengali language. Bengali language is more attractive. Thank u Dipankar for posting this here.
