Magical Night Poem by Justin Gildow

Magical Night

As the sun sets
You all daydream and reminisce
of the memories you all gave to me
While I'm content to just smile

As the magical night arrives
You all stand on both sides of me
The wind gently blows
Blowing the strands of your hair around
But you all look beautiful and majestic
like that
All of your wings fade and glow
Pretty and delicately

As the stars arrive with the moon
It ushers in the night
Saying goodbye to the afternoon
And it wraps us all up in the lightly
glowing splendor

The stars and moon hang in the sky
And as we stand
We see the shooting stars and supernovas
race across the sky
This magical night can't be anymore
wonderful or beautiful

Looking out at sea
Mermaids swim along
One by one
Rising up in the sea
Before going under
