Make Me Alive Again Poem by Melissa Koeman

Make Me Alive Again

Rating: 4.0

Your ghost still lingers trough my heart
A feeling of emptiness sets in
I can feel it surround me
Take hold of me
The loneliness is making my heart shrink
To nothing more than a marble
Without any feeling
I’m about to crack
Without your love
You were like my drug
Just prop me up with another pill
Make me alive again
Touch me, kiss me, love me
And I will be strong
Ready to take on the whole world

the contradiction of life and love until we love others, we are not alive when we love others we risk death may your heart heal as your words flow
