Oh, the pain, heartache & woe
Why is it so hard to let go
The pain it causes hurts so much
It's like a death touch
It feels like my chest is ripping apart
& like I've been stabbed right in the heart
So many tears
& even more fears
No happiness I feel, only pain
& it's driving me insane
For what (if anything) is there to gain?
But hide it all, for no one can know
Put on a smile just for show
Swept away & lost in the sway
I just want it all to end & go away
