So alone
With so many friends
A long list of acquaintances,
Yet the loneliness never ends
Brave a smile on her face
To mask away the tears
To put on a show
And bury the fears
Oh she is fine,
So bubbly and alive
But deep down inside
Slowly she dies
Her closest pals
The ones who are meant to care
Don’t even realise
That slowly she disappears
