Making It Right Poem by Oluwafemi Joshua

Making It Right

Silence is the order of the day
a hero so strong is gone
after closing my eyes
to release the last breathe i stole from the air
i got to junction of decision
i can't tell which way leads to my destination
i don't have a guide
but i pray heaven will send an angel to stay by my side
i am free from the troubles of the world
never will i partake in the cheating of mankind
i'm at the junction to eternity
but i can't tell which way leads to the right place
i wish i had enough time to decide
i would have gone for the broad way
then i remember i asked for an angel
he took me by the hand
and led me back to the world i left
though i was not happy coming back
to this painful world
i realize i still have alot to fulfil
then i woke up in a place coated with white
i'm back from the unknown to make everything right.

In life you only have the opportunity to make one choice. No time to think, no time to deliberate. You only have now to decide when to make it right.
