Many Chances Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Many Chances

So far and thereafter
It was just slaughter
The soul was placed before unreal world
“Nothing shall accompany you” I was often told

“Let an end come” later on
By the time I shall be gone
The journey shall be easily spent
Life shall be realized as dreamt

But what is this?
Why am I restless?
Why no one supports?
I am confused with such sort of things

I must mend
Or end
Life with single knot
Life shall not be fought further

Was this the real solution?
There was, in fact, confusion
I considered myself as slave of circumstances
Even though I missed many chances
