Masky Poem by Liam ó Comáin

Masky

his imagination
was vivid
he worked
when he had no work
he was a journalist
when he roamed the pubs
educated he was
but not a doctor of science
which he claimed to be
to his wife a confused
walter mitty
a dreamer of dreams
but a loving father
and a man of faith
unmarried in a world
of make believe
