Matal Dance, Inebriated Dance Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

Matal Dance, Inebriated Dance

Matals,
The inebriated ones
Taking fermented wine
In lungi and ganjee
Dancing,
Whistling and taking beedi,
Piyakkads,
The drunkards
Drunk awfully
Fallen on the ground,
Babbling, arising,
Trying to stand to participate
In the local dance competition
To make the even successful.
