Let nothing be remembered
The colonial days have offered nothing
The people went there as invaders
But settled with local population there

The present shape of the country is different
They have become independent already
The population may have mixed culture
And this only keeps their future intact

Now that land belongs local and native
They can remain active for the development
The past may bring them some insult
But it has no use for the national sentiment

Our forefathers were native
And if invaders did some atrocity
And force the local people to compromise their identity
It has no relevance today to feel differently

Keep no grudge and prosper the country
You have mot more to offer for everybody
The country may remember your sacrifice
And this shall be legitimate reason to suffice
