Mayan Angel Noose Poem by Benjamin Lee Hopper

Mayan Angel Noose

Silken-laid webs
pardon the lives
set in hearthstones
risen from karmic lines,
hanging their fate
in false idol's eyes
to trap their weary
reckless minds
and exchange energy
for a chance to unwind
from their comatose
and self-imposed demise.
