What kind of friend are you?
Treat me less than,
Just cause im a female,
you hate that i stand tall,
And speak my mind,
When i do you have a problem,
You hate that i see through the lies,
It was only cause i was blind,
Of being alone,
But it how i become stronger,
Not settling for less,
I know what it feels like,
Just to want to belong,
But around every corner,
Is jealously,
Hated for moving up in life,
Saying 'no' to things that hold me back,
I used to be in the shadow,
Now im shinning bright,
Knowing im worth more,
Gives me the strength to move forward,
Without you or not,
Maybe you were a lesson,
Putting me through a test,
God knew i was strong,
I had to put my trust in him,
No matter what,
I won't ever have to stand alone.
