They went on a trip to McCornack country
Enjoying a visit to the ancestral farm
The beauty was simply overwhelming
It had an overabundance of charm

Beautiful prize-winning sheep
Dotted the fields of emerald green
Landscape that you cannot imagine
A treasured Scotland is what was seen

The countryside was fresh and sweet
The architecture you’d be so surprised
Built many years ago, you see
It almost makes you want to cry

The ancestral cemeteries were amazing
Of course on this special visit
History was everywhere you looked
Very old and they too were exquisite

A visit that the McCornack family
Would all just love to make
Perhaps more of them can some day
A fantastic trip for the children to take!
