Me Myself And I Poem by Chad Palomino

Me Myself And I

In those days I knew all about life
I was young and angry
I was sad and clumsy

Years of misunderstanding misery

Then my daddy was gone and I learned the meaning of nothingness
I had to fill up the empty
To play with feelings gravity

To learn about we

Today life has gone so quiet and so bright
An ocean of shivering silk wrapping my skin
And caressing me

So long daddy

Don't worry
I'm happy

And from now on I'll always be

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Don't know where it came from.
But in the meantime my dad is gone. Brain tumor.
And it sounds different when I read it.
Hope I'll reach wiseness...some day.
