Meet me if your life is going wrong
and I’ll make sure your life becomes all right;
meet me if you’ve nobody to long
for, and I’ll make you long for my delight.

Meet me, darling, if you’re feeling lonely,
and I make sure you never are alone;
meet me, just to tell me I’m the only
lover whom you wish to call your own.

Meet me, even if your past is gruesome
because your never got a break that’s fair;
meet me, darling, if you want a twosome
with somebody whose life you want to share;

Meet me if you’re feeling rather blue,
and I will make sure that you’re filled with joy;
meet me if you think these words are true:
You’re my best girl, I am your best boy.
