Melodious Muse Date Written 02/02/2008

Music to lift the soul,
Sound sandwich fulfils a goal.
Both ears working in harmony
Hammer anvil stirrup euphony.
Lose yourself to the beat
Hunger for tones replete.

Vibrating loud, tingling skin
Touching heart, resplendent din.
Body reacts - unconscious spasms
Reflex drowned in pure phantasms.
Imagination prepares to take flight
Guitar strum sticcato igniting inner light.

Aerodynamic Acrobatic
Electronica devours static.
Serotonin adrenaline flood
Switches to calming dopamine blood.
Hold hands high - swish to piano
Muscle relaxant from soothing soprano.

Heave a sigh for larynx lost
Creative prowess has its cost.
For all shall live a life that's fated
For myriad score immolated.
Melodious muse- where would I be
Without you to cosset and inspire me?

Inconsistent metre. Sounds like performance doggerel. Sticcato - what is meaning
