Melt Your Heart, Lord
In your presence
I can feel your comfort
I know that when i come to you in prayer
You'll listen to my pleas
Touching me in the stillness of the night
Melt your heart Lord
When people are at their lowest point
When children cry because their parents are gone
When sickness comes in the night
And they have nobody to turn to but you
Just melt your heart, Lord
When nobody cares for the old and lonely
To their anguish and pain
Hungry and dying in misery
Leaving a memory of yesterday's glory
Melt your heart, Lord
For the mothers out there
Longing for the return of their wayward children
Hooked in drugs, swayed by sweet tongues
To come back into their loving embrace
And my heart spills with your wonder
Because i know that you are always there
The very center of your warm and passionate heart
Has melted and comforted me
Your presence have envelop me once again
Beautiful poetry Meggie to help the orphaned children, the old and lonely, Mothers with run away children and the last stanza brings the resolution to your prayer.
