u cant take my memories away
those are mine forever

you can beat me down
verbally abuse me
punch and kick me
make me cry and scream

but i'll always have my memories
those are mine forever

you can bruise my heart
and bury my soul
leave me burnig indefinately
with no intention of saving me

but my memories
those are mine forever

you can tell me everything was a lie
tell me how it was all so untrue
destroy my whole world
with just a few simple words

but you can never take my memories
those are mine forever
