Memory Poem by Alicia Meyers

Memory

Years go by,
I wait for you,
I sit and cry,
Because I know it's not true.
Not a true love,
Not a true mate,
I thought you came from above,
But you're someone I now hate.
I thought you were mine,
I thought it was suppose to be forever,
I guess there is no more time,
For us to be together.
Now you're just a memory,
A good part, but also bad,
Who made me,
Really sad.
