Men We Punish Poem by Naveed Akram

Men We Punish

Rating: 3.5

From brains of a man we punish, we let intellect be punished,
For the audience is enclosed in space, and assemblies appear.
A hungry tiger, tearing to pieces the flesh of a renowned lecturer,
Hunts yourself and your intelligence, all that upbringing is wasted now.
It is the case of the criminal, hired thieves, vandals of distrust,
And it resides in the heavens of despair, completely forbidden.
Our brain sustains coins of gold and silver, wives attract the masters,
Our brain is a criminal if disjoined from society, and from base.

One is so young and fair, so deciding our fate and deciding the realm,
It is chance of the foe, it presents an audience with fair-minded men.
The person is on trial, like a year or two, to be punished and torn into pieces,
Like Damien, the man who was pulled and twisted apart by a pair of horses.
His deal is his deal, he suffers from agony in the plains and the deserts,
He dies a true criminal, and a worthless scoundrel, if ever it was his deed.
From brains of a man we infer the guilty wars, opening a door to the other side,
Forcing it open, faster than a doorway of decision, farther than the gates of hurt.
