Mercy Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

Mercy

I won't have no mercy
I'm full of controversy
come loaded with gasoline
so cute and some kind of mean
mothers in the cut
keep eyeing me
they'll never make the cut
keep trying to be
jealousies a disease and it dies fast
you're a around the way trick
cause you've been passed
worry bout your lane, learn how to meet
the needs of life on the road
develop skills and you'll grow
when you travel that mile
i'm a soldier prepping for war,
I know what i'm in for
fight against them ogres,
battle won, it's over
I don't need to tell you,
i'm bout that monetary gain
Up out my face,
if you bout that small change
small change, you would settle for that
you don't know where the real coins at
i'm getting to the money
plan the next vacation
lifeguard off duty
none you hoes i'm saving
