Mere An Actor Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Mere An Actor

Rating: 5.0

O blood, thirsty mongers
Control your hunger
For more territory and domination
It is affecting human relation

How many innocent lives are lost?
You may not realize most
Children are turned orphan
You turn happy with fun

Trigger happy soldiers
Go on rampage with innocent and poor
Neither have they done anything with politics
Nor to benefit for gain of economics

Religion does have decisive role
Fanatics have given definite call
Many more may disappear in turmoil
The humanity may certainly fail

Peace and tolerance seems strange factor
How do we forget Him as creator?
Why do we play the role of destructor?
When we are stranger here and mere an actor

A sad and truthful write. Unfortunately, I don't believe we will ever live to see world peace. It's a beautiful thought though isn't it?
