Meteor’s

dark
night all around me
silhouetted by trees
clear perfect sky
stars so bright
a time to think
time to ponder
about all things
that could be
and things that
never will
but I'm here to see
gods beauty
a display but
once a year
maybe just three
or four an hour
but still
it's been a wondrous
meteor shower
