Milk and Polish

I flow ontop of it
It does not really like me
But when it flows
It takes me along in folds

We have been through a lot together
But it will not absorb me in
Compatibility cannot be determined
By temperature or wheather, we seem not to be blending

It is me it carries
Till i fade away
Not together, yet together we flow away.
