Milk. It’s the first food that many babies taste.
I hate to see milk (or other food) go to waste.
Even if it starts to go sour, for goodness sakes,
one may still use sour milk.... to make pancakes.
And with skill and equipment, milk can with ease...
be made into butter, ice cream, yogurt, and cheese.

after reading D. Scotney's comment i have done some research [hours spent in the library, ya know! ] and here is my findings: 'for goodness' sake (spoken) also for goodness sakes I am surprised or annoyed by this for Pete's sake For goodness' sake, Harry, what are you doing at this time of night? Well, for goodness sakes, why didn't you tell me that earlier so I could have changed my plans? Usage notes: used for emphasis and often used instead of the more offensive idioms for God's sake and for Christ's sake Related vocabulary: for crying out loud See also: sake' i also found that there are THREE SPELLINGS for yogurt. he and i are both correct in our spellings. the other one i believe is youghurt! :) thanks douglas.
for goodness sake, for goodness's sake, for goodnesss' sakes. Oh I don't know but I think it might be for goodness' sakes. and I agree, before it goes off, with skill, equipment and ease, milk can be made into yoghurt, ice cream, butter and cheese.

You are so very right here! Milk can be turned into beautifu yummyl products with skill and equipment! But when gone rotten it smells like rancid butter! I can very well accept your preoccupation with food! Enjoyed this rhyming verse! !
