Miserably Fail Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Miserably Fail

The seeds are sown
The consequences are known
It leads to terror and tear
Whole of the population has to bear

The trustful eyes have turned sour
They are concerned with death and fear
Man cuts man’s throat
We only cherish with religious quotes

The religious difference shall remain
But bring in misery and pain
If people go blind
Who will go to them and remind?

Let us leave about who plays mischief?
But many leaders and priests are their chief
They inflame religious sentiments
Good people turn into devils

Our past shall reveal
And make us to feel
We were together for centuries
Never down with undue worries

Now a day we meet with no eyes
But only try
To prevail
And miserably fail
