Misguided Soul Poem by Tim Holmes Jr

Misguided Soul

Your complexion is an accurate reflection
Of a Nubian Queen dark in it's perfection.
Shamefully lustful after your milky way,
Proudly not blood related is what I say.
In a place where you come to find answers
My eyes see you as the ultimate dancer,
to the song written in my heart but translated in my mind
Your body, those lips, them hips look more than fine!
This affection started some time ago,
You would think at this point I would have let this go.
But then you smile at me or simply walk in the room,
The feelings I kept suppressed dammit my soul is doomed.
It goes from love to lust I try to hide it,
Then goes from lust to love cause I trust you won't trip.
Sad part is you only know half the story,
I will keep the rest til I'm going off to glory.
Truth be told I like everything about you.... Really
Hair, eyes, skin tone, lips, hips glutes, hands and toes... Seriously
Attitude, thought process, wise humor and every fault you've expressed
The kids, yep Love them too, but I know this could be a pure mess.
I can't deny what I feel inside, so I hide behind words,
He may spit well, but the way I kiss pearls to rock your whole world
When I try to keep a clean mind, It don't work
All you do is walk away, you don't try but you twerk?
What you don't know is how a little time spent,
With you makes you wonder why no one has been permanent?
You're fantastic, amazing, beautiful, diva that is Gorgeous,
Plus the answers you give when I am curious...
Believe this or not I enjoy the communication
Like Minded people have the best conversations
Temptation is at it's peak in a place of prayer,
Yeah when that spirit hits, I do stop and stare.
Are the feelings wrong, sure but who really going to care,
Its only in my mind, you're my Chocolate love affair!
