Miss Eyre Poem by B3k Baylon

Miss Eyre

Longing to fill the emptiness she rhymed…

Darling divine…Roses are red, Violets are blue, and so are you…
For whatever reason that sad smile shows… I don’t have a clue.

Mirror… mirror, on the wall… tell me what bothers this Soul?
Time gently passes her by but she just would not take the Fall.

Please tell me… What makes her laugh? What makes her cry?
I know she’s real enough to feel, but couldn’t even if she tried.

Though lost she uttered still a hopeful prayer …

For heartbeats in a moment of calm; a breath of an Angel in peace,
For someone to hold, and look in their eyes in pure ecstatic bliss…

To trust the torture will somehow end, and one day she’ll finally find…
The piece of Heaven…and the sweetest Song she kept alive in her mind

One way or another, to believe…someone will hear her poignant tune;
Even if broken in pieces with grief, she’ll be saved from it all real soon.
