Missed Opportunities Poem by ANDREW BLAKEMORE

Missed Opportunities

Rating: 4.8

I was told that
That there was a beautiful sunset
Last evening,
That lit the sky
Like a burning fire,
And yet
I wasn't there to see it.

I was told that
The stars shone so brightly
That night,
Much brighter than
They'd ever shone before,
And yet
My eyes were closed.

I was told that
The chorus of the dawn
Was sung more sweetly
Than it ever
Had been sung before,
And yet
I did not wake to hear it.

Sadly it tells of the opportunities being taken before but what proved enjoyments way to be futile and added the feeling that change management thought to be so optimal could only be assumed hypothetically but the natural way of its realisation could be ignored in some of its later undercurrent. But it adds however it counts large on individual or remain just as an opportunity that came and swept the way without unfolding something life had its unflinching faith in now yet be forgotten...Atonement of poetry as your new dimension.Great write..
