Missing Chime Poem by Moushumi moushumi

Missing Chime

If you may wish to measure
The feet I stepped for long-

If you may speak to
Every corner of my being-

I would be in awe for sometimes,
I would look forward to your restless eyes,
As it never read
The lips of a slaughter,
As it always distanced
All the words unuttered.

Here’s an oath, a word
If I had, I could be a miser...

One soul, an image,
Once upon a time,
Defined my living in
A room not for the chime…
