I lay awake
Deep into the night,
Missing you.
My heart
Loud!
Wonder if audible
Even to you.
My thoughts
A jamboree of emotions,
Some acquaintances
Some strangers.
Wonder if ever felt by you.
And then
even without a knock
You enter..
Vivid against the haze of
My open eyed dreams.
How I love
The lines
at the corner of your eyes
deepening..everytime
the curve of your smile
reaches the eyes!

The mischief of the twinkle
Illuminating
All the stars of my night sky.
Igniting
The embers of my deepest desire.
As I lay awake
